He had served as NORCECA\u2019s press officer since 2002, and also worked as the FIVB press delegate for various top level events, including the Olympic Games and World Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In 2019, he became one of eleven communicators elected to receive the Abelardo Raidi Award granted by the Latin American chapter of the International Sports Press Association in recognition of his national and international career.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The FIVB and global Volleyball Family extends its deepest condolences to the
