{"id":102749,"date":"2022-12-13T16:41:39","date_gmt":"2022-12-13T16:41:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/?p=102749"},"modified":"2022-12-13T16:41:39","modified_gmt":"2022-12-13T16:41:39","slug":"fivb-legal-commission-prioritises-credibility-and-good-governance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/fivb-legal-commission-prioritises-credibility-and-good-governance\/","title":{"rendered":"FIVB LEGAL COMMISSION PRIORITISES CREDIBILITY AND GOOD GOVERNANCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Commission holds its annual meeting in hybrid format.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The FIVB Legal Commission held its annual meeting this week with the Commission prioritising FIVB\u2019s credibility, transparency and good governance in its work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The meeting was held in a hybrid format with the Commission President Rogerio Oliveira and Secretary Alain Fischbacher joining from the FIVB Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland and the remaining members joining online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Commission listened to the annual report of the FIVB Legal and Transfers Department which outlined the major work streams and achievements in 2022. Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0 said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cCredibility, transparency and good governance are our top priorities, and we count on our FIVB Legal Commission to assist us in ensuring that the best legal practices are implemented in our day-to-day work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI am extremely proud that our commitment to good governance and transparency has been recognised in the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) Fourth Review of International Federation Governance with an increase of 25 points since the last assessment. The FIVB has now moved from group B to A2, the second highest group.
