This marked a significant step in the organisation\u2019s aim to serve the world through volleyball.<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, the Board approved the principle of resource and coaching provision support for two projects: the Brahmaputra Volleyball League and the Githurai Kimbo Volleyball Academy. The Foundation also approved the allocation of broadcasting resource to the Brahmaputra Volleyball League and support for a scholarship programme at the Githurai Kimbo Volleyball Academy, which aims to empower members of the community through nurturing talent, imparting life skills, and offering quality education.<\/p>\n<p>The Board also appointed one new member, four honorary members and an ambassador.<\/p>\n<p>Inclusive of the Executive members, the Board and its supporting members now comprises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr Ary S. Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0, President of the FIVB&nbsp;Volleyball Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Fabio Azevedo, Vice President of the Volleyball Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Yuji Saeki, Volleyball Foundation Board Member, President &amp; CEO of Mikasa<\/li>\n<li>Charles Joye, Volleyball Foundation Board Member and Secretary<\/li>\n<li>Giuseppe Manfredi, Volleyball Foundation Board Member and President of the Italian Volleyball Federation<\/li>\n<li>Alejandrina Mireya Luis, Volleyball Foundation Honorary Board Member and Ambassador, and a three-time Olympic and two-time volleyball World Champion&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Volleyball Foundation Honorary Board Member, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Her Royal Highness Princess Ayah bint Faisal of Jordan, Volleyball Foundation Honorary Board Member, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation and Jordan Olympic Committee Board Member<\/li>\n<li>Nick Clarry, Volleyball Foundation Honorary Board Member, CVC Managing Partner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>President of the Volleyball Foundation Ary Gra\u00e7a reiterated the importance of the Foundation\u2019s mission, stating:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether, we showcase the power of volleyball to transform communities around the world. We show how volleyball can open new doors, challenge social divisions, and promote wellbeing and healthier lifestyles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on the event\u2019s importance, President Gra\u00e7a explained:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy sincere thanks and best regards go to all of you for joining the Board of the Foundation.
