Dr Oh Jae-Keun from Korea chaired the Sunday\u2019s meeting, with Secretary Dr Ead Lorprayoon and Honorary Member Dr Rueangsak Siriphol, both of them from Thailand, attending on site at the AVC Yoshizawa&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dr Jogi Yoshizawa from Japan and Dr Daisuke Araki, another Honorary Member, joined the meeting on Zoom, while Dr Gholamreza Norouzi from Iran and Dr Mohamed Habeeb from President Mr Ramon Suzara<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Following the Roll Call and self introduction of each member, AVC President Mr Suzara delivered his welcome address to all participants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is with great pleasure to welcome all of you to this important meeting of the AVC Medical Committee. This is the first meeting following the recent election and I would like to extend a warm welcome to new members and express my appreciation to all of you for dedicating your time and expertise to AVC. The Medical Committee plays a crucial role in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of athletes, players, coaches. Your effort in medical governance and the doping matters and athletes\u2019 care are kind of reflecting the continued success of AVC events. I encourage you to engage more in discussion, share insights and work collaboratively to stand with the medical process and programs, especially with the FIVB Medical Commission. At the 48th and 49th AVC Board of Administration Meetings, no matters related to the Medical Committee.
