{"id":144315,"date":"2025-08-01T19:23:47","date_gmt":"2025-08-01T19:23:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/?p=144315"},"modified":"2025-08-01T19:23:47","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T19:23:47","slug":"equal-jersey-2025-a-continued-commitment-to-equality-through-volleyball","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/equal-jersey-2025-a-continued-commitment-to-equality-through-volleyball\/","title":{"rendered":"EQUAL JERSEY 2025: A CONTINUED COMMITMENT TO EQUALITY THROUGH VOLLEYBALL"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p><strong>The campaign reflects equal opportunity, shared visibility and a level playing field for all<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since its launch in 2021, the Equal Jersey campaign at the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) has served as a clear expression of Volleyball World\u2019s long-standing commitment to championing gender equality.<\/p>\n<p>Building on volleyball\u2019s unique position as one of the few sports with full gender parity in prize money, media exposure and sponsorship, the campaign has featured some of the sport\u2019s most prominent athletes proudly wearing the Equal Jersey during the VNL Finals.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its fourth year, the campaign continues to reflect the values that are at the very heart of volleyball; equal opportunity, shared visibility and a level playing field for all.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the ongoing support for this initiative, this year\u2019s campaign will be highlighted across digital and on-site platforms in particular. Top players have taken part in a dedicated photo session to showcase the new Equal Jersey design, and these images have been featuring across Volleyball World\u2019s social media channels to help reinforce the campaign\u2019s core message.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMzWWVYvjJm\/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMzWWVYvjJm\/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet<\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the Women\u2019s VNL Finals in Poland, the Equal Jersey was also be visible through LED displays and event announcements, serving as a reminder of the sport\u2019s focus on equality, and this will also be the case at the Men\u2019s VNL Finals in China.<\/p>\n<p>The jersey will also be on sale on the Volleyball World online shop at a later date so stay tuned to hear more on that!
