{"id":145500,"date":"2025-10-01T17:16:57","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T17:16:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/?p=145500"},"modified":"2025-10-01T17:16:57","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T17:16:57","slug":"senate-commends-alas-pilipinas-for-historic-performance-in-fivb-worlds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/senate-commends-alas-pilipinas-for-historic-performance-in-fivb-worlds\/","title":{"rendered":"SENATE COMMENDS ALAS PILIPINAS FOR HISTORIC PERFORMANCE IN FIVB WORLDS"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p><b>Credit: volleyballphilippines.com<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Senate on Wednesday adopted a resolution filed by Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano commending the Philippine men\u2019s national volleyball team, Alas Pilipinas, for their milestone 19th-place finish in the 2025 FIVB Men\u2019s World Championship.<\/p>\n<p>Cayetano, who sponsored Proposed Senate Resolution No. 143, said the team\u2019s breakthrough run \u201cbrought immense pride and honor\u201d to the country and proved that Filipino athletes can excel when given the right opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSports brings Filipinos together.
