Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0 met the interim President of the Iranian Volleyball Federation, Mr. Afshin Davari Lotfabadi, and its International Events Director, Mr. Ghaffar Derakhshandeh, to discuss the development of volleyball in the country as well as the participation of Iran\u2019s national teams at international events.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s volleyball has continued to grow in popularity throughout Iran and, during the visit, the interim president expressed strong interest in hosting the 2021 U21 Men\u2019s Volleyball World Championship.<\/p>\n<p>After the meeting, the FIVB President said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was good to sit down with the interim president and discuss further development of our beloved sport in the country. Iran is already hosting several FIVB events, including a VNL men\u2019s pool.
