{"id":44568,"date":"2019-07-25T19:05:43","date_gmt":"2019-07-25T19:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/?p=44568"},"modified":"2019-07-25T19:05:43","modified_gmt":"2019-07-25T19:05:43","slug":"north-american-countries-compete-for-tokyo-pool-titles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/north-american-countries-compete-for-tokyo-pool-titles\/","title":{"rendered":"NORTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES COMPETE FOR TOKYO POOL TITLES"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p>Tokyo, Japan, July 25, 2019 &#8211; With women&#8217;s pairs from the United States winning all eight of their pool play matches here Thursday at the $300,000 Tokyo Open, two American teams will be aiming to defeat duos from north of their border to capture group crowns at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event.<\/p>\n<p>Top-seeded Alix Klineman\/April Ross (Pool A) and 11th-seeded qualifiers Kelly Claes\/Sarah Sponcil (Pool B) are the two Americans teams that will meet Canadians for pool crowns against 12th-seeded Heather Bansley\/Brandie Wilkerson and second-seeded Melissa Humana-Paredes\/Sarah Pavan, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The American and Canadians won two pool play matches each Thursday to set up the competition of undefeated teams.
