I look forward to many\u00a0positive contributions to the development of AVA athletes in my new role as beach coach\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Anne brings volleyball coaching experience from\u202fa number of\u202fbeach and indoor clubs as well as the National Beach program in\u202fthe Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>She\u202fleverages her S &amp; C expertise to\u202fmaximise\u202ftransfer between work done in the\u202fgym\u202fand on-court skills with the AVA athletes.<\/p>\n<p>Anne has a strong analytical skillset based on her scientific background, having graduated with a Master of Arts (Hons) at the University of Groningen (The\u202fNetherlands). \u202fThe appointment maintains the integrity of the well-functioning AVA coaching team and builds on established relationships with National Beach Volleyball Team Coaches.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnne has been a marvellous addition to our coaching staff at the AVA\u201d, commented National Technical Director Phil Borgeaud on the appointment.\u201cHer bespoke skillset and commitment to the holistic development of young athletes aspiring to perform at the highest level are\u00a0simply a great fit and will enhance the AVA experience for all of our athletes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The primary objective of the Australian Volleyball Academy (AVA) is to identify and develop\u00a0Olympic potential athletes for Volleyball and Beach Volleyball.
