{"id":56795,"date":"2021-01-21T10:49:53","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T10:49:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/?p=56795"},"modified":"2021-01-21T10:49:53","modified_gmt":"2021-01-21T10:49:53","slug":"dates-set-for-fivb-athletes-commiission-elections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/dates-set-for-fivb-athletes-commiission-elections\/","title":{"rendered":"DATES SET FOR FIVB ATHLETES\u2019 COMMIISSION ELECTIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p><strong>Eligible voters can cast their ballot through a secure independent voting platform<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The FIVB today confirmed that the first-ever FIVB Athletes\u2019 Commission Elections will be held on January 25 to 31, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The elections will be held through a secure LUMI voting platform with 16 candidates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fivb.com\/en\/players\/athletes-commission\/elections\">https:\/\/www.fivb.com\/en\/players\/athletes-commission\/elections<\/a> from volleyball and beach volleyball competing for a place on the Commission. All eligible voters will be contacted by LUMI and receive clear instructions on how to cast their ballot. In the case of one or more tie votes, it is foreseen that the second round of voting will take place on February 2-3, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The FIVB Athletes\u2019 Commission will be composed of ten members, five of which will be elected by the players and five appointed by the FIVB President.
