(PNVF) late Sunday evening, <a href=\"http:\/\/spin.ph\">spin.ph<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 155 national federations out of a possible 190 votes approved the FIVB\u2019s recognition of the PNVF during the third and last day of the 37th FIVB World Congress that was conducted online.<\/p>\n<p>Out of a possible 190 votes, three said no, 13 abstained and 20 said they did not receive the question from the FIVB.<\/p>\n<p>The FIVB also sought its members&#8217; votes on the PNVF\u2019s elections last January 25 that was managed by the Philippine Olympic Committee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you recognize the elections of the PNVF last January 25?\u201d the FIVB asked its members. The result was 151 yes, five no, 16 abstained and 18 said they did not receive the question from the International Federation.<\/p>\n<p>In the same agendum, the FIVB also asked the house\u2019s decision on the expulsion of the Philippine Volleyball Federation as an affiliate of the International Federation and got 138 yes votes, 16 no votes, 15 abstain and 22 did not receive the question from the FIVB.<\/p>\n<p>The entire PNVF board wishes to thank the FIVB and all the Confederations for the overwhelming support during the 37th Congress,\u201d PNVF President Ramon Suzara said. \u201cWe now proudly banner the honor and the responsibility of being affiliated to both the international federation and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Suzara thanked FIVB President Dr Ary Gra\u00e7a and AVC President Rita Subowo for the inspiring quality of leadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to POC President Bambol Tolentino and Secretary General Edwin Gastanes for initiating an inclusive and unifying approach to the elections,\u201d Suzara added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, our work begins to fulfill our singular commitment to all stakeholders.
