The dynamics are sure to change next week, though, when Japan face Brazil, Italy and Russia. Highlights Week 1 | Women&#039;s VNL 2021\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SSJ1ZMNS2OE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But the highlight of the tournament so far has certainly been the new generation of world champions that Serbia are preparing to keep their country at the very top of international volleyball.<\/p>\n<p>After conceding a very tight match to Turkey on the opening day, Serbia rebounded with back-to-back victories &#8211; including over hosts Italy on Thursday night &#8211; coming back from 22-24 down in the third set with a four-point run to just show their inspiring passion and energy.<\/p>\n<p>No one&#8217;s pretending it will be an easy ride for Serbia in Week 2, when they&#8217;ll clash with the top two of the standings &#8211; USA and Japan, plus Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Keep an eye out for Sara Caric, second in the overall scorers&#8217; list &#8211; but also captain Katarina Lazovic who comes in at No. 4.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"SRB vs. ITA -
