Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0 to the Ariake Arena where breath-taking Tokyo 2020 volleyball action has been underway since Saturday 24 July 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, Japan\u2019s Minister for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, Tamayo Marukawa, and Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee Vice President Toshiaki Endo attended the women\u2019s volleyball match between Japan and Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>After witnessing a determined performance from the Japan women\u2019s national volleyball team, who eventually lost to Brazil in three sets, Minister Marukawa and Mr Endo discussed the strength of Japanese volleyball with FIVB President Dr Ary S. Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0. They were all able to enjoy a thrilling match between South Korea and the Dominican Republic where the Dominicans were narrowly defeated 15-12 in the fifth and final set.<\/p>\n<p>They discussed the rapid rise of the Dominican Republic women\u2019s national volleyball team who most recently finished in sixth place at the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2021.
