As part of the project, highly-experienced Brazilian coach Mr Issanye Ramirez Ferraz has been appointed to lead the development of Bahrain\u2019s youth and men\u2019s national teams with the ultimate aim of improving the teams\u2019 rankings at both a continental and international level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-73945\" src=\"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-1024x682.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-768x512.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-580x387.jpeg 580w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-860x573.jpeg 860w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-1160x773.jpeg 1160w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-500x333.jpeg 500w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-800x533.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2-1280x853.jpeg 1280w, https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2.jpeg 1400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Bahrain\u2019s national teams have already made significant progress. Notably, the men\u2019s senior national team finished 10th at this year\u2019s Asian Men\u2019s Volleyball Championship while the U21 team earned its first ever FIVB Volleyball U21 Men\u2019s World Championship victory in October, beating Morocco 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-22) and finished the tournament in 14th. Meanwhile, the U19 team finished second at the Gulf U19 Volleyball Championship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">FIVB President Dr Ary S. Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0 said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cBy reinvesting the money that comes from the sport back into the sport, we have been able to consistently elevate the level of volleyball worldwide. The achievements we see in Bahrain are testament to the FIVB\u2019s wide-reaching and professionally delivered development programme, as well as the BVA\u2019s commitment to improving the level of the sport in Bahrain.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">BVA President Sheik Ali Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe support provided by the FIVB has helped us become more internationally competitive in volleyball, and the Bahraini teams have achieved great results in the past seven months.
