{"id":73963,"date":"2022-01-25T08:54:42","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T08:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/?p=73963"},"modified":"2022-01-25T08:54:42","modified_gmt":"2022-01-25T08:54:42","slug":"fivb-legal-commission-committed-to-the-principles-of-transparency-and-good-governance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asianvolleyball.net\/new\/fivb-legal-commission-committed-to-the-principles-of-transparency-and-good-governance\/","title":{"rendered":"FIVB LEGAL COMMISSION COMMITTED TO THE PRINCIPLES OF TRANSPARENCY AND GOOD GOVERNANCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">The Commission hosts online meeting<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The FIVB Legal Commission met via videoconference on Monday, to discuss the latest FIVB legal matters and ensure that all legal affairs continue to honour the FIVB\u2019s commitment to transparency and good governance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The meeting began with the FIVB President, Dr Ary S Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0 paying tribute to the previous Commission Secretary, Mr Siven Vasavan Samuel, who passed away at the end of 2020. The Commission observed a minute of silence in honour of its former Secretary, a man of professionalism and integrity, truly dedicated to the development of the legal framework in volleyball.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A number of important topics was raised during the meeting, including updates on FIVB and Volleyball World and the amendments and implementation of various FIVB Regulations. Additionally, the Commission listened to the report of the FIVB Legal and Transfers Department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Speaking at the meeting, the FIVB President said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIt is very important to do everything in the right way. We must follow the principles of good governance and ensure that our legal affairs are conducted in a professional and<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; <\/span>transparent manner.
