Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0 as he again urged National Federations (NFs) to work with the FIVB and plan the development of the sport in their countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In what was a fitting end to the first FIVB World Congress in-person since the 2018 edition in Cancun, the FIVB President highlighted the even brighter future ahead for the sport thanks to the unity of the Volleyball Family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cSo again, dear National Federations, thank you for your unwavering commitment to volleyball, thank you for your support. It is my great honour to serve as your President. It is the strong, united spirit of the global Volleyball Family that inspires me to work harder and harder, to make volleyball stronger, to make you stronger, and to keep supporting and empowering you,\u201d said FIVB President Dr Ary S. Gra\u00e7a F\u00b0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/k0ABW0ObUbU\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/k0ABW0ObUbU<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A number of key announcements were made during day three of the Congress, including Australia as the host of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2025. The event now has a strong line-up of host nations for upcoming editions with Mexico set to host the 2023 edition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As the 38th FIVB World Congress came to a close, eyes turned to the future as Phuket, Thailand was approved by acclamation as the host of the next FIVB World Congress in 2024. Following the approval of the Congress, Thailand Volleyball Association Vice President Thiti Pluckchaoom presented the plans for the 39th FIVB World Congress and thanked delegates for their discusses the importance of the athletes\u2019 voice<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Congress also heard reports from FIVB Athletes\u2019 Commission President Madelein Meppelink, FIVB Beach Volleyball Commission President Mushtaque Mohammed, FIVB Medical Commission President Annie Peytavin, FIVB Rules of the Games and Coaching Commission Guillermo Paredes, FIVB Snow Volleyball Commission President Aleksandar Bori\u010di\u0107, FIVB Technical and Coaching Commission President Giovanni Guidetti via video, FIVB Volleyball Council President Marco Tulio Teixeira and FIVB Volleyball Empowerment Commission President Vladimir Grbic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In addition, FIVB General Director Fabio Azevedo presented the latest status of the FIVB\u2019s 11 Strategic Goals with an update on those that have since been achieved and how the FIVB and its 222 National Federations can move forward to achieve the remaining goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p
