Bangkok, Thailand, February 28, 2015 – Mr Seong Kee-Hak, Secretary of the AVC Development and Marketing Committee on behalf of the Korea Volleyball Federation, presents a painting as a souvenir from Korea to the AVC Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand, with AVC’s Secretary-General Mr Shanrit Wongprasert receiving the painting ahead of the AVC DMC Meeting at Dusit Princess Srinakarin Hotel on Saturday.
The painting entitled “Jumping into the sky, the land is surprised” which means “Hope Asian Volleyball to become the top of the world” resembles a human-like A alphabet (meaning Asia) with the sun as the head on top. It was painted by artist Lee Sungmin Juhjung, widely known in outstanding Korean series Dae Jang Geum.
