Kabul, Afghanistan, September 30, 2015 – The Afghanistan Volleyball Federation took another leap in the development of their programmes after they have successfully conducted the Central Zone Volleyball Championship from September 2 to 8.

Sixteen volleyball teams from eight provinces participated in the one-week championship.

The tournament climaxed with the final match between National Security Directorate (NDS) and World Sport, where NDS prevailed in four sets.

The Deputy Director General for Sport awarded the championship trophy to NDS, while the vice president of the National Olympic Committee gave the runners-up trophy to World Sport.GetPhoto.aspx

After earning the top two spots in the championship, NDS and World Sport have qualified for the Afghanistan Volleyball Champions League, which will be on October 15.
