Chennai, India, April 13th 2016 – The FIVB Level-I Coaches Course was inaugurated on Friday 08th April 2016 by Shri Pradeep Yadav, I.A.S. Principal Secretary – Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, Chennai at Dr.Sivanthi Adityan FIVB Regional Development Centre for Volleyball, Chennai.

A total of Thirty Two (32) Candidates are participating in this course.

The FIVB has nominated Mr. Branislav MORO, FIVB Instructor from Serbia as Course Director and Mr.G.E.Sridharan, Arjuna & Dronacharya Awardee, National Coach and FIVB Instructor from India as the Course Instructor for this course.

The valedictory function with the presentation of attestation to the candidates will be on Tuesday 12th April, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Dr. Sivanthi Adityan FIVB Regional Development Centre for Volleyball.

Sanjay Kumar who played for  the national team since 1988 appreciated the initiative to held the course, ” level 1 is good for our learning process, really good exposure and we learn a lot of thing as a beginner and hopefully in the future we can develop new player better.”

“They are teaching a fine concept of volleyball. I’m really feel proud attending this course after getting knowledge from this course, as far as my concern we are trying to promote and develop volleyball in India, so we can achieve a good position in International level.”
