Tokyo, Japan, May 28, 2016 – After a very intensive with back to back meetings and visits in China, where President Graça met governmental politicians, sports authorities, potential event organizers, marketing partners and TV networks, he has returned to Tokyo Japan for the FIVB Men’s WOQT as well as for another rounds of business meetings with the Japanese companies.
President Graça had already met a number of Japanese companies such as Airweave, Meiji, Hisamitsu, Senoh and ASICS during the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament which took place in Tokyo earlier this month.
On Saturday, President Graça was in attendance to see Iran beat Australia in the first match of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament before being taken on a tour of the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium whilst having individual talks with the FIVB officials, JVA staff, referees and coaches.
Operating Officer Mr. Chihiro Kameyama before watching the last match of day when hosts Japan came from behind to beat Venezuela. An official meeting with Fuji TV – in important FIVB Partner – is planned on Monday to discuss the future of volleyball.
