Bangkok, Thailand, July 10, 2016 – AVC President Dr Saleh A. Bin Nasser arrived in Bangkok to attend the 2016 Southeast Asian Volleyball Association Meeting as guests of honour including FIVB President Dr Ary Graca, FIVB and AVC Honorary Life President Mr Wei Jizhong and AVC Executive Vice President Mr Essa Hamza. The meeting took place at the Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel Srinakarin on July 10 in Bangkok.

After the meeting, all the distinguished guests arrived in the Indoor Stadium Huamark to watch the final match of the 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Finals between Brazil and the USA. During the awards presentation, the AVC President presented the Best Middle Blocker Award to USA’s Rachel Adams, while AVC Executive Vice President Mr Essa Hamza also joined the auspicious ceremony to give away the Best Libero Award to China’s Lin Li.
