Lausanne, Switzerland, February 9, 2017 – The FIVB is celebrating a new social media milestone on the video- and photo-sharing platform Instagram with 300,000 followers.

FIVB on Instagram – Join us now

The first time we posted a photo to the account was on April 25, 2013, when China’s Gao Peng made an unusual block at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour event in Fuzhou.

Ever since, the account has grown into a great resource for fans with images and videos from the most memorable moments in the FIVB’s volleyball and beach volleyball events, like these intense rallies…

We have shared magical moments on court, and some of the atmosphere in the stands.

We have visited the most epic locations and met some colourful fans.

And we have enjoyed sharing images of the sport’s universal appeal, be it kids playing volleyball on snow…

Families playing on the beach…

Or even our favourite volleyball and beach volleyball stars playing a game in the federation’s board room in Lausanne!

Follow now to be a part of the action…
…and to help grow our community.

A big thank you to our 300,000 followers. Be sure to visit the FIVB’s Instagram account soon!

Instagram is just one of the social media platforms the FIVB is active on. Visit the FIVB’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages and join the conversation.
