Good attacks of Pusit Phonarin with 14 points helped Thailand snatch the win before thousands of Iranian fans. Coach Monchai Supajirakul of Thailand believed that “As Kazakhstan made use of their tall and towering players, we had to show our effective blocks. We have to find tactics which can foil Pakistan’s efforts of using high balls which had already troubled Iran and China.”
