Suwon, Korea, July 22, 2017 – Poland crushed Kazahstan 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-14) to extend their record of seven wins and just one defeat in their previous encounters of this year’s World Grand Prix.

Malwina Smarzek and Roksana Brzoska led the winners with 12 points each, while on tle loosing side Katerina Tatko and Radmila Beresneva shined with 7 markers each.

Poland coach Jacek Nawrocki: Congratulations to our players. We played well today just like yesterday. We played well in service and blocking.

Poland captain Joanna Wolosz: We secured ourselves the spot in the Final Round so we are much happier than yesterday. We want a revenge match with Korea because they beat us last time in Poland. We will prepare for tomorrow’s match as best as we can. Our substitutes did great.

Kazakhstan coach Vyacheslav Shapran: Congratulations to Poland. Today we’ll be much prepared for tomorrow because we must win tomorrow. Our teamwork faltered and that is one of the key reason why we lost. We’re in third place and we’ll win tomorrow.

Kazakhstan captain Radmila Beresneva: First of all, congratulations to Poland. We played better than yesterday but we had difficulty with receives.
