Surabaya, Indonesia, July 27, 2017 – Pakistan struggled hard before producing a comeback 3-2 (21-25 22-25 25-20 25-21 15-6) victory over Hong Kong in their first 9th-16th playoff match at the SMM 19th Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship at the Tri Dharma Petrokimia Gymnasium on Thursday.

Naseer Ahmad scored a match-high 25 points for the Pakistan’s winning including 21 kills from 37 attempts. Murad Jehan contributed 17 kills, with Mubashir Raza clinching 4 block points. Chan Alex Chi Wai led Hong Kong with 20 points from 18 attacks and 2 blocks.

Pakistan will next take on Thailand on Saturday, with Hong Kong playing Iraq.
