Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, August 25, 2017 – Philippines pulled off a comfortable straight-set 25-13 25-18 25-11 victory over Timor Leste in their last pool round-robin preliminary match, but failed to make the cut for the semi-finals of the 29th South East Asian Games Men’s Volleyball Championship at the MITEC Hall 11 on Friday.
The Philippines, beaten 0-3 by Vietnam and 1-3 by Indonesia in their Pool B preliminaries, were trailing in the third place in the pool with straight two losses.
