Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, October 21, 2017 – The Olympic Solidarity FIVB Level 1 Coaches Course came to a fruitful conclusion at the National Training Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday.
FIVB Instructor Mr. Zhao Shanwen from China conducted the course theoretically and practically at the National Training Centre here from October 13 to 20, 2017. Vietnamese coaches from different clubs and schools joined the eight-day seminar, while 45 participants including three Chinese) made the course registration and had been provided with the Login to complete the theoretical part online.
“Volleyball Federation of Vietnam annually organise workshops and seminars, but this is the first international seminar for potential local coaches in the South Region. I appreciate kind supports from the IOC, FIVB, AVC and hope that the seminar will be a great success,” Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, vice president of Volleyball Federation of Vietnam, who presided over the opening ceremony on October 13, was quoted as saying.
Mr. Zhao Shanwen, who previously conducted the course in Vietnam (AVC Coaches Course in Bac Ninh in 2016), is the FIVB Instructor. He has been conducting many coaches courses, workshops and seminars across the world.
“It’s a very good course with high-level performances of all participants. Discussion points and practices were raised during the course. I’m convinced that the FIVB, AVC Development Programme like this will help enhance coaching knowledge and get the Vietnamese coaches updated with theories in coaching field,” Mr Zhao Shanwen said his in closing speech.
