BISHKEK HOLDS BILATERAL MEETING

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, September 9, 2018 – A bilateral meeting was held at Hyatt Regency Bishkek Hotel on Thursday to seek development cooperation among the two parties.

Mr Essa Hamza Al Failakawi, FIVB and AVC Executive Vice President, presided over the one-day meeting, which was held between FIVB/AVC and five representatives from Central Asian countries consisting of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting started with video message of FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graca, mentioning the importance of the five countries to FIVB and AVC. Confirmation has been made on further efforts to develop their national teams.

Mr. Essa Hamza also emphasized the importance of the meeting in current format, while expressing his pleasure to throw full supports on decisions made and plans implemented during the sessions.

All delegates shared their thoughts and unanimously supported the idea to unite in one sub zonal organisation under the banner of “North Central Asia Volleyball Organisation.”
