FIVB COACHES COURSE CONCLUDES IN IRAN


Urmia, Iran, October 28, 2018 – The FIVB Level 1 Coaches Course came to a fruitful conclusion on Sunday in Urmia, the largest city in West Azerbaijan Province of Iran, with all 45 coaches from different regions successfully passing the course criteria.

The course was held from October 24 to 28, with FIVB Instructor Mr Shihab Ahmed Al Riyami from Oman and Dr Javad Mehregan, Head of the Research & Education Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF), jointly conducting the program.

Despite huge interest, a large number of 45 coaches participated in the course, supported by the FIVB Technical and Development Department and the IRIVF.

After five days of intense theoretical and practical instruction, the course, with an  emphasis mainly on the training theory, training planning, advanced methods of physical fitness and tactical performance of the team, came to a successful close on Sunday.

The participants expressed their satisfaction with the dedication and teaching methods of Mr Shihab Ahmed Al Riyami and Dr Javad Mehregan. All participants passed the course to receive certificates.
