BIDDING OPENED FOR 2019 VOLLEYBALL INTERCONTINENTAL OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENTS AND 2021 BV WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Lausanne, Switzerland, November 9, 2018 – The FIVB has launched the bidding processes for the 2019 Volleyball Intercontinental Olympic Qualification Tournaments and for the 2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships.

All bids for the organisation of the 2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships should be received by no later than 17.00 CEST on November 30, 2018.

Expressions of interest in bidding for the organisation of the 2019 Volleyball International Olympic Qualification Tournaments should be received by no later than 17.00 CEST on December 14, 2018.

The 2019 Volleyball Intercontinental Olympic Qualification Tournaments are part of the qualification process for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The 2021 Beach Volleyball World Championships will follow on from the 2019 tournament in Hamburg, Germany.
