COACHES BENEFIT FROM FIVB LEVEL-1 COURSE IN IRAN


Kerman, Iran, November 23, 2018 – The FIVB Coaches Course Level I came to an end on Friday in Kerman, with FIVB Instructor Mr Shihab Al Riyami, who became the Oman’s first international volleyball instructor in 2008, conducting the course in theory and practice.

The five-day course, which started on November 19, was aimed at covering the training plan including the psychological and sociological aspects of volleyball, science of training, biomechanics, movement learning and some other updated methods of trainings.

Due to the abundance of requests from the participants, 51 candidates were eligible for the course, while Dr. Javad Mehregan, head of the Research and Education Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF), also assisted the course instructor.

Mr. Shihab Al Riyami shared his insights with the course attendants on how he counts on courses development as key to the volleyball future and simultaneously expressed his satisfaction over the organizers’ kind cooperation as he found the facilities provided and services available very good. He appreciated the theoretical and practical level of the participants and was hopeful to be able to have a better cooperation with the IRIVF in the near future.
