Sentul-Bogor, Indonesia, November 26, 2018 – An FIVB Level-II Coaches Course at the FIVB Development Centre Indonesia came to a fruitful conclusion on Sunday, with 20 experienced coaches completing the five-day course to receive the FIVB Certificates.

The course, organised by the National Volleyball Federation of Indonesia in conjunction with the FIVB and the FIVB Development Centre Indonesia in Sentul-Bogor, was held between November 21 and 25. Mr Jaksuwan Tocharoen from Thailand, himself Member of the FIVB Sports Events Council and Secretary of the AVC Sports Events Council, conducted the course involving theoretical and practical aspects of teaching methods.

The main objectives of the course were to present the most recent trends of the modern game of volleyball and improving the knowledge and competence of coaches and teachers so that they might gain recognition as FIVB coaches in the near future. Mr Jaksuwan, who recently was appointed the FIVB Course Instructor for the FIVB Level-I Coaches Course at the FIVB Development Centre Indonesia here, also shared his insights of useful activity done daily with all course attendants during the practical session.

“I would like to express my sincere congratulations to all attendants who passed the course tests. I hope that after completion of this course, you gained experience and knowledge to next apply for use in your career. We can’t stop chasing more successes and development should continue. The importance of the continuing professional development should be priority in your career. I wish you all successes in life,” Mr Jaksuwan said in his speech during the certificate presentation and the closing ceremony, attended by high-ranked officials of the National Volleyball Federation of Indonesia.

A total of 20 coaches from Singapore, the Philippines, India, Hong Kong China, Bhutan, Macau and hosts Indonesia participated in the course. However, as one left earlier, only 19 joined the photo session.
