The competition and training halls are ready. Hotels have good service including laundry, technical equipment. It is also a big surprise that the medical devices are not only ready but also there is a helicopter for any urgency of the injuries. In sport, everything is possible. So it is great to see the host is completely ready.”
Dr. Davarzani, President of Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF), appreciated the sincere efforts of the local organizing committee and the BOA members of the AVC for accepting their proposal of moving the host city from Tehran to Urmia as the cradle of volleyball and said, “The high performance of Iran team in U16, U19, and U21 championships have shown that we are working very well and there are many talents in Iran. We are trying to get as close as possible to the FIVB targets to make volleyball a number one family sport that Urmia has already met in its city.”
