“We are very grateful to FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° for sending veteran international coach Sergio Veloso to oversee the Philippine men’s volleyball team as part of a Volleyball Empowerment targeted support programme. Sergio Veloso is a true champion, a great tactician, coach and mentor with 30 years of experience.

“He is one of the greatest gifts presented by the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment programme to Philippine volleyball after women’s national volleyball team coach Jorge Edson Souza de Brito and Joao Luciano Kioday for our national beach volleyball teams.

“We are very excited and thrilled to have all of these coaches working with our national teams. Again, thank you to the FIVB for providing these coaches as our national teams embark on global volleyball competitions abroad.”
