“I have inspected three hotels of the team’s accommodation and all of them were of the same quality and conditions. Thanks to Dr Davarzani for his hard work. The competition and training halls are ready. Hotels have good service including laundry, technical equipment. It is also a big surprise that the medical devices are not only ready but also there is a helicopter for any urgency of the injuries. In sport, everything is possible. So it is great to see the host is completely ready.”

Dr. Davarzani, President of Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF), appreciated the sincere efforts of the local organizing committee and the BOA members of the AVC for accepting their proposal of moving the host city from Tehran to Urmia as the cradle of volleyball and said, “The high performance of Iran team in U16, U19, and U21 championships have shown that we are working very well and there are many talents in Iran. We are trying to get as close as possible to the FIVB targets to make volleyball a number one family sport that Urmia has already met in its city.”

AVC Secretary General Mr Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai, himself AVC Coordinator in this top-flight championship, welcomed Control Committee Members, on behalf of AVC President Madam Rita Subowo, “This championship is very important. You can see many famous and popular players and coaches in this event and the AVC assigned the most experienced members and all the international referees are also from the best ones. I am confident that the LOC personnel including line judges, E-scorers, announcers and others are all professional as Iran is one of the greatest countries of Asia with a volleyball system,” Mr Kiattipong was quoted as saying in his speech.

He further added, “The major events of the AVC will be broadcasted by AVC TV Partner. Matches in the second hall of Al-Ghadir Stadium will have live streaming through AVC YouTube, while the TV right-holders will conduct the live broadcast in the main Competition Hall to receive the uplink for their respective territories.”
