Manama, Bahrain, January 22, 2025 – Bahrain Volleyball Association held its first Executive Committee Meeting for the 3rd West Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship to discuss the progress of preparation for hosting the prestigious event.
The meeting was presided by BVA General Secretary Mr Feras Al Halwachi, the chairman of the Executive Committee, and attended by the chairpersons of the working committees. In this occasion, Mr Feras Al Halwachi shared the nature of the work of the Executive Committee and the work tasks with the rest of the members .
Mr Feras Al Halwachi expressed his confidence in the association’s ability to successfully host the championship based on its experience and reputation in organizing major global and continental championships, and wished all working committees a great success.
The tournament will take place on the territory of the Kingdom of Bahrain from February 5 to 16, 2025, with seven teams vying for top honour. The participating teams are Al Ahli from Bahrain, Kuwait SC and Al Qadsia SC representing Kuwait, Al-Salam SC from Oman, Al Arabi SC and Al Rayyan SC from Qatar and Masafi Al Janoob SC representing Iraq.
