Oceania Volleyball has officially launched a refreshed brand identity, marking a significant milestone in its growth as a regional leader and global contributor to both volleyball and beach volleyball.
This rebranding reflects the organization’s transformation into a modern, professional federation – poised to take its place on the global stage as a unified and dynamic voice for the Pacific region.
Unveiled on Tuesday, May 27, the new logo incorporates symbolic elements that honor Oceania’s rich cultural heritage. The palm tree represents strength, resilience, and family – core values that resonate throughout the region’s interconnected island communities. The waves symbolize the ocean, which has sustained life and facilitated connection among Pacific nations for millennia. A vibrant color palette and bold, italicized typography were carefully chosen to align Oceania Volleyball with its AVC and FIVB counterparts.
Oceania Zonal Volleyball Association (OZVA) President Mr Hugh Graham, who also serves as AVC Secretary General, emphasized that the rebrand represents more than a visual change.
“This is a powerful statement about who we are and where we are going,” he said. “Oceania Volleyball is rising, and we are proud to represent a region defined by resilience, unity, and cultural pride. With this new identity, we stand alongside our partners in AVC and FIVB, ready to contribute to the global volleyball community and elevate the voices of our island nations.”
The new identity has been enthusiastically endorsed by the Oceania Executive Board and Commissioners. Executive Board Member Herman Ada noted, “The Executive Board and our Commissioners have embraced this brand with great enthusiasm. It reflects the spirit of collaboration that drives everything we do, as well as our deep pride in the region and our commitment to building a stronger future for Oceania Volleyball.”
As the organization enters this exciting new chapter, Oceania Volleyball invites athletes, fans, federations, partners, and the wider volleyball community to join in its journey of growth and progress.
Supporters can look forward to a series of regional events, the launch of a new website, and other dynamic initiatives designed to highlight the energy, talent, and spirit of volleyball throughout Oceania.
