The campaign reflects equal opportunity, shared visibility and a level playing field for all
Since its launch in 2021, the Equal Jersey campaign at the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) has served as a clear expression of Volleyball World’s long-standing commitment to championing gender equality.
Building on volleyball’s unique position as one of the few sports with full gender parity in prize money, media exposure and sponsorship, the campaign has featured some of the sport’s most prominent athletes proudly wearing the Equal Jersey during the VNL Finals.
Now in its fourth year, the campaign continues to reflect the values that are at the very heart of volleyball; equal opportunity, shared visibility and a level playing field for all.
To mark the ongoing support for this initiative, this year’s campaign will be highlighted across digital and on-site platforms in particular. Top players have taken part in a dedicated photo session to showcase the new Equal Jersey design, and these images have been featuring across Volleyball World’s social media channels to help reinforce the campaign’s core message.

At the Women’s VNL Finals in Poland, the Equal Jersey was also be visible through LED displays and event announcements, serving as a reminder of the sport’s focus on equality, and this will also be the case at the Men’s VNL Finals in China.
The jersey will also be on sale on the Volleyball World online shop at a later date so stay tuned to hear more on that! In addition, Volleyball World has committed to donating 40% of all proceeds to the FIVB Volleyball Foundation, supporting the Foundation’s mission to leverage the global reach and power of volleyball to help community projects worldwide that create a positive impact.
The Equal Jersey continues to represent a commitment to fairness and inclusion; a commitment that resonates across players, fans, sponsors and the global volleyball community.
