Doha, Qatar, October 7, 2025 – The FIVB Beach Volleyball U18 World Championships will officially kick off on Tuesday (October 7) in Doha for the first time, with matches scheduled at the Al Gharafa Beach Courts through October 11.
The tournament will showcase a new generation of rising international talents in the sport.
This year’s championships feature 64 teams from 32 countries in the men’s division and 32 teams from 23 countries in the women’s division, underscoring Qatar’s growing stature as a premier host of world-class sporting events.
The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) has announced its full readiness to stage this prestigious event in accordance with the highest international standards. The tournament is expected to deliver exceptional performances and intense competition among emerging stars eager to leave their mark on the global stage.
Hosting the FIVB Beach Volleyball U18 World Championships forms part of Doha’s ongoing commitment to fostering international sports development and further solidifying Qatar’s reputation as a leading destination for major global competitions.
