BRAZIL TO HOST WOMEN’S AND MEN’S FIVB VOLLEYBALL CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025

São Paulo to host women’s event from 9-14 December; Belém to stage men’s from 16-21 December

Volleyball powerhouse Brazil will host both the Women’s and Men’s FIVB Volleyball Club World Championships 2025, marking the grand finale to an exceptional year of world-class events for volleyball.

From 9-14 December, the Women’s Club World Championship returns to São Paulo for the first time in 31 years, bringing together eight powerhouse teams from across the globe competing for club volleyball’s ultimate club honour:

  • Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde (BRA)– host club
  • Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley Conegliano (ITA)
  • Savino Del Bene Scandicci (ITA)
  • Dentil Praia Clube (BRA)
  • Club Alianza Lima (PER)
  • Zamalek Sporting Club (EGY)
  • Zhetysu VC (KAZ)

The line-up for the Women’s Club World Championship is nearly complete, with one final club to be announced at a later stage.

The action then moves north to Belém, where the Men’s Club World Championship takes over from 16-21 December. Eight of the world’s best men’s clubs will go head-to-head, including:

  • Vôlei Renata (BRA) – host club
  • Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia (ITA)
  • Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie (POL)
  • Sada Cruzeiro (BRA)
  • Praia Clube (BRA)
  • Al-Rayyan Sports Club (QAT)
  • Osaka Bluteon (JPN)
  • Swehly Sports Club (LBA)

Known for its electric atmosphere and volleyball-mad fans, Brazil is no stranger to hosting the sport’s biggest stages, having recently hosted the Men’s Club World Championship 2024 in Uberlândia.

FIVB President Fabio Azevedo said: “The Club World Championship is about more than crowning the best clubs in the world – it’s about inspiring the next generation of players and fans. By giving fans in Brazil and around the world the chance to witness the top clubs and athletes in action – whether live in the arenas or through global broadcasts – we continue to inspire new generations to connect with our sport.”
