Tashkent, Uzbekistan — The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), led by AVC President Ramon Suzara, together with the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation, conducted an official visit to volleyball and beach volleyball facilities at JAS Stadium as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the development of the sport in Uzbekistan and across the region.
During the visit, the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation formally reiterated its proposal for Tashkent to host the Asian U18 Beach Volleyball Championships, highlighting the readiness of its facilities, strong organizational capacity, and solid support from national authorities. The proposed beach volleyball venue at JAS Stadium demonstrated favorable conditions that meet international standards for training and competition.

“Uzbekistan continues to show strong commitment to the development of volleyball and beach volleyball through quality facilities, clear vision, and strong institutional support,” Suzara said. “These are key foundations in hosting successful continental competitions and in developing athletes who can compete at the highest level in Asia.”
The facility inspection reflects the shared vision of the AVC and the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation to elevate athlete development, enhance sports infrastructure, and expand opportunities to host prestigious continental championships in Central Asia.
