Deepest Condolences on the Passing of Mr. Yim Hyung Bin

It is with profound sorrow that I received the news of the passing of Mr. Yim Hyung Bin.

On behalf of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), I extend our deepest sympathies to his bereaved family and the Korea Volleyball Association.

Mr. Yim was a true pioneer whose decades of service transformed our sport. As a former Vice President of both the KVA and AVC, his visionary leadership significantly strengthened Asian volleyball on the global stage.

On a deeply personal note, I have lost a cherished mentor. Having had the privilege of working alongside Mr. Yim for many years, I will forever be grateful for his guidance. He generously shared his wisdom and taught me invaluable lessons about leadership and the true spirit of volleyball.

Mr. Yim’s lifelong passion and devotion will be remembered with the utmost respect. We stand with you in your grief, celebrating a remarkable 95 years of life.

May his memory continue to inspire us all, and may he rest in eternal peace.

With deepest sympathy and highest regards,

AVC President Ramon Suzara
