Al-Arabi volleyball team were crowned champions at the 5th Qatar National Volleyball League 2021-2022 after defeating Qatar S.C team in straight sets in the final showdown at the Qatar Volleyball Association Hall on Wednesday.
Mr Ali bin Ghanem Al-Kuwari, President of the QVA and West Asia Volleyball Association, presented Champions’ Trophy and gold medals to the eventual winners Al-Arabi and silver medals to runners-up Qatar SC.
The match was good in its technical level, and Al-Arabi managed to settle its games in hard-fought three-setter 25-20, 25-21, 26-24.
The match was attended by a number of delegations participating in the meetings of the General Assembly, the Executive Office and the auxiliary committees of the Arab Military Sports Federation, which is currently under way in Doha.
Mr Ali bin Ghanem Al-Kuwari congratulated Al-Arabi team for winning the title and wished the Qatar team success in the upcoming competitions, praising the level of both teams in the meeting.
