The best eight teams will gather in the Turkish capital for the thrilling showdown
Ankara will host the Finals of the women’s 2022 Volleyball Nations League. The best eight national teams will qualify for the event in the Turkish capital to be held from July 13 through 17.
Over the years, Ankara has become a regular host of VNL matches. The city welcomed a pool during the inaugural edition of the women’s VNL in 2018 and another two pools the following year. This year’s VNL will get started in the Turkish capital on May 31 with matches in Pool 2, and will finish, also in Ankara, on July 17 with the big final for the trophy.
It will be the first time VNL Finals are played in Turkey. Nanjing, China played host to the Finals in 2018 and 2019, and Rimini, Italy held the event in 2021.
The four quarterfinals in Ankara will be played on July 13 and 14, the semifinals will take place on July 16, and the two medal matches will decide which teams make the podium on July 17.
