Tokyo, Japan, October 11, 2024 – AVC President Mr Ramon Suzara on Friday met with Senoh Corporation (hereafter called Senoh) officials at Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier, where he took this auspicious occasion to extend his heartfelt thanks to Senoh for their great support and contribution to AVC and the profound work the two organizations have put into further development of Asian volleyball.
Upon their arrival at the hotel, Mr Kazuaki Kikkawa, Head of Senoh Corporation International Department, second from left in the main photo, Mr Hidenori Sakai, International Department Sales & International Relations Chief, far left, and Noriko Fujiwara, Manager, Senoh Corporation International Department, far right, were warmly welcomed by the AVC President, who after that presented them the AVC Plaque for appreciation and recognition for the Senior’s continued support to the volleyball governing body.
Senoh has a storied history with international competitions, having provided volleyball equipment since the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, when the sport made its debut.
The AVC President, by then in his 50s and while in charge of the AVC Development and Marketing Committee Chairman, was highly-acclaimed for having brought Senoh to be the AVC’s official supplier for the first time in 2016.
On May 6, 2016, AVC and Senoh President Mr Tetsuya Ozaki had signed the unprecedented contract in Bangkok, Thailand to become the official supplier/sponsor of volleyball and beach volleyball equipment including indoor volleyball and beach volleyball nets, net antennae, indoor volleyball official stands and beach volleyball referee stands with padding for all AVC events.
From then, the continued collaboration has contributed to the significant success of the two organizations. Through research and development of reliable and safe equipment, Senoh will continue to contribute to deliver the joy and excitement to volleyball fans, players, and communities not only in Asia, but around the world, while AVC will also take pride in promoting and expanding volleyball sports with Senoh equipment to all over the region.
