The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) has officially released its comprehensive calendar of events for 2026, marking what is expected to be one of the most exciting and action-packed years for volleyball across the region. With major competitions scheduled in volleyball, beach volleyball, and snow volleyball, fans can look forward to a year filled with high-level play, emerging talent, and international competition.
Volleyball Highlights

The 2026 Asian volleyball season features a strong mix of club championships, nations cups, and age-group tournaments. The action begins in April with the AVC Women’s Volleyball Champions League, followed in May by the AVC Men’s Volleyball Champions League.
In June and July, competition continues with the AVC Women’s Nations Cup, AVC Men’s Nations Cup, and the Asian U18 Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Championships.
The continental championships take center stage later in the season, with the Women’s Continental Championship in August and the Men’s Continental Championship in September. The 20th Asian Games, also taking place in September, adds another major highlight to the year.
The volleyball calendar concludes with the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics in October.
Beach & Snow Volleyball Expands

2026 will also feature a full slate of beach and snow volleyball events, reflecting AVC’s commitment to growing the sport across diverse environments.
The year begins in February with the Asian Men’s Snow Volleyball Championship. The beach volleyball season starts in April with the first of four AVC Beach Tours, followed by the Asian Beach Games.
A packed schedule continues in May with the Asian U18 Beach Volleyball Championships, leading into June, which will host three more AVC Beach Tour stops alongside the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships.
In July, Asia’s top young athletes take the global stage at the FIVB U18 World Championships. Major multisport events return in September with the 20th Asian Games, and in October with the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics.
