Bangkok, Thailand, June 10, 2022 – The Bahrain-hosted FIVB Coaches Course Level 1 came to a successful close on Thursday at the FIVB Development Centre in Bahrain.
Under close supervision of FIVB Instructor Mr Muhammad Jalal Issa, the June 5-9 workshop saw a total of 20 candidates including 6 women take part in, hoping it, and other such courses, will be a stepping stone to establishing Bahrain as a nation with a strong volleyball culture.
The course was extended for five days, split into theoretical and practical sessions. Many materials and technical and tactical aspects of volleyball had been covered as well as the aspect of physical preparation, rules of the game and recent changes in the law of the game, as well as sports injuries related to volleyball.
During the closing ceremony, FIVB Development Centre in Bahrain Director Mr Mohammed Ahmed Al-Thawadi, himself Secretary of AVC Coaches Committee, expressed his gratitude to Course Instructor Mr Muhammad Jalal Issa aside from honouring all participants and presenting them certificates of success in the course.
