The competition will take place in Hangzhou, China for the second year running
Hangzhou, China has been officially announced as the host city for the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship 2024, taking place from 17-22 December.
Returning to China for the second year running, the matches will be held at the Huanglong Sports Center, an 8,000-capacity venue that is set to provide an electric atmosphere.
The eight club teams that will compete for a place on the podium at the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship 2024 have also now been announced, as the qualification period for the tournament concluded.
The qualified teams are:
· Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano (ITA) – 2023-24 CEV Champions League – winner
· Numia Vero Volley Milano (ITA) – 2023-24 CEV Champions League – runner-up
· Gerdau Minas (BRA) – 2023-24 CSV Club Championship – winner
· Dentil Praia Clube (BRA) – 2023-24 CSV Club Championship – runner-up
· Nec Red Rockets Kawasaki (JPN) – 2023-24 AVC Club Championship – winner
· LP Bank Ninh Binh (VIE) – 2023-24 AVC Club Championship – runner-up
· Zamalek Sporting Club (EGY) – 2023-24 CAVB Club Championship – winner
· Tianjin Bohai Bank Women’s Volleyball Club (CHN) – Host Club
