Bangkok, Thailand, September 5, 2020 – AVC has just received a very important email from FIVB to kindly remind all AVC Affiliated National Federations that the closing date for FIVB Development Projects Platform 2020 is on September 30, 2020 at 2300hrs CEST.
This platform gives National Federations the opportunity to improve the level of their national teams through the supply of coaching, volleyball equipment or high-level coach the coaches clinics. It is the FIVB’s overall aim to help them all foster the growth and development of volleyball and beach volleyball in their countries.
As of September 3, 2020, FIVB has received a total of 36 Applications for the 2020 Projects Platform which included only 9 Applications from AVC.
Among the 36 Applications received, 20 Applications are for the Coach Support for Development of National Teams (5 beach volleyball Applications and 15 volleyball Applications) and 16 Applications for Volleyball Equipment.

Please note that the deadline for submitting your Application for the 2020 FIVB Development Projects Platform is on September 30, 2020 and if your National Federations have not managed submitting your Application yet, please do so at your earliest convenience before the deadline.
In terms of the 2020 FIVB Development Projects Platform, there are 3 types of FIVB support to National Federations which complete Applications. They are as follows.
A. Coaching Support for Technical & Tactical Development of National Teams (volleyball and beach volleyball). This is to provide a subsidy to contract a quality coach to deliver services to improve the performance of world class and emerging National Teams.
B. Volleyball Equipment – Volleyball Floors (Indoor & Outdoor), Volleyballs, Beach Volleyballs & Kids Volleyballs. This is aimed at providing volleyball equipment using key FIVB partners to allocate VIK to National Federations to encourage the growth and participation levels in Volleyball.
C. Coach the Coaches – High performance coach/expert seminars/clinics. This is to provide support to upskill National Federations’ elite coach structure by providing a world class coach/expert in an agreed high performance area.
For all successful Applications a contract will be implemented between FIVB and successful National Federation President.
Missing the deadline can cost your National Federation a positive impact for further development and progress of your National Team. So, please see the above details and submit your Applications before the deadline September 30, 2020.
