“AVC also appreciated the great support and contribution of Thailand Volleyball Association which successfully organised AVC Continental Cup, Asian U19 and U21 Beach Volleyball Championships between June and July. The Asian Men’s and Women’s Club Volleyball Championships are very important because they are the qualification tournaments of the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Club World Championships. Special thanks to all at the AVC Headquarters to make all these events happen in difficult situations,” she continued.
“To organise the competitions in these very difficult situations really need the budget more than at the normal time and also, many staffs without the great support of hosting the events will not be able to organise. I wish the best success of this drawing of lots and I’m confident that with the strong capability of us, especially with the support of TVA, the two Championships will be successfully organised and show the unity of our AVC Family to FIVB and other Confederations. Last but not least, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all the participating federations and teams for their great cooperation to AVC to continue this organisation of the 2021 Championships. May Allah bless us all and good luck to everybody,” she concluded.

The 2021 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from October 1 to 7, 2021, with 7 teams vying for top honours.
“Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition regulations specially modified this year ruled that the federations can participate with two teams because many federations cannot participate in the Asian Women’s Club Championship. Finally, a total of 7 teams from 4 federations will be featured in the Championship,” Shanrit indicated.
According to the draw results, organisers Nakhon Ratchasima QminC VC (THA-2) are in Pool A with Zhetyssu (KAZ-2) and PVL (PHI-2). “Nine federations with 10 teams have been confirmed to compete in the Asian Men’s Club Championship. According to the competition regulations, if less than 16 teams participate in the Championship, the organisers will have the right to send two teams,” Shanrit explained.
The 2021 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship is due to take place next to the Asian Women’s Club Championship at the same venue in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand between October 8 and 15, 2021.
